From Mike Anastasia's family by way of Rebecca Anastasia I'll be untranslating the grams into cups before making them myself :-) this is the "doubled recipe for holiday purposes", might need to be halved. But 300g sugar is only 1.5C so I'm guessing not. Oh, but this gets doubled again for the chocolate. So maybe it's right to halve. Vanilla Dough -226g butter, softened - 300g sugar - 1 egg - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp baking powder - 1/4 tsp salt - 360g cups AP flour Chocolate Dough - All ingredients for Vanilla Dough - 57g butter, softened - 95g cocoa powder I R E C T I O N S 1. Prepare Vanilla Dough - Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl - Cream together the butter and sugar in another bowl - Add eggs and vanilla to the butter and sugar - Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients - Divide dough ball in quarters and chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight. Dough balls should be approximately 245g. 2. Repeat step 1 for the Chocolate Dough. Dough balls should be approximately 280g. 3. Roll each dough half into 9" x 12" rectangles. Stack a vanilla and a chocolate rectangle and roll tightly from the short ends. Chill overnight. 4. Slice into 1/4" thick rounds and bake at 350F for 12-14 minutes
