Valerie's recipe for Dan Dan Noodles All measurements very approximate, based on watching her and taking notes. 1 lb package spaghetti, cooked. Sauce: 3/4 C peanut butter 2 oz cooking sherry 2 oz peanut oil dollop (1 tbsp?) sesame oil dollop hot oil 1 tbsp chili paste 2 oz soy sauce 2-3 cloves garlic, minced a mess of ginger, minced (maybe 2 tbsp total? half a cubic inch?) Run sauce ingredients in blender. When it seems like it's too thick and not blending, put in a couple ounces water and try again. Mix into spaghetti. Sprinkle with a bunch of sesame seeds. May add strips of dichon radish, bean sprouts, etc.
