Chocolate Chip Pound Cake 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature 2 sticks (8 oz) unsalted butter 1 1/2 cups sugar 4 large eggs 2 Tb sour cream 2 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour (it actually calls for 2 1/4 cups cake flour, so use that if you've got it, i never have) 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (it calls for 1, but it's better with two...) preheat your oven to 325 and butter and flour a 10-cup tube pan. i usually use a regular bundt pan and just spray it with pam and maybe flour it. Combine in obvious order. Bake about an hour. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar for pretty effect.
